AltoBeam, together with Tsinghua University and 9 other Chinese companies, shared the first-prize award of Chinese National Science and Technology Advancement for the contribution to “DTMB key technology and commercialization both domestically and internationally”. The National Science and Technology Advancement award is issued annually by the State Council of China to recognize the outstanding contributions in Science and Technology fields in China. DTMB is the China self-developed digital terrestrial TV broadcasting standard that has been adopted by several countries. Altobeam has been playing an instrumental role in promoting and commercializing the DTMB standard.
